When you submit an enquiry through our contact form we collect a name, contact number and e-mail along with your enquiry. We require these details to be able to contact you to deal with your request.

When you submit your request using our Owner authorised release form we collect a title, name, telephone number, e-mail address, postal address, vet details, dog details and a signature.

How and where do we store data?

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to ( We’ve agreed our data retention period will be 24 months ) in order to use it as described in this privacy policy, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it.

Any email communications are stored on secure email servers. Form submission to K9 Splash may be stored securely on our website for upto four weeks, after this time they will be deleted from the webserver.

Your choices

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. We will not pass your details to any third parties for marketing purposes unless you have expressly permitted us to. Furthermore, you can change your marketing preferences at any time by contacting us by email at enquiries@k9splash.co.uk.

You have a right to request a copy of the personal information that K9 Splash holds about you and have any inaccuracies corrected. Any such requests should be made to this email address: enquiries@k9splash.co.uk.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to us using your personal data at any time, and to request that we delete it. We do not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. Data will, therefore, be retained for the following periods (or its retention will be determined on the following basis):

We’ve agreed our data retention period will be 24 months. This means we will delete K9 Splash customer data after 24 months of inactivity.

Data security is very important to us, and to protect your data we have taken suitable measures to safeguard and secure data collected through our Site. Our site uses an SSL certificate which encrypt data you submit using our website forms

Like most other websites, we use cookies. We currently only set one cookie (_has.js) this is set by our content management system and checks to see if your browser is running javascript.

Our Facebook feed is generated from a Facebook app, this does not collect any of your personal Facebook information it is purely to display posts from our Facebook feed.

What happens if our business changes hands?

We may, from time to time, expand or reduce our business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of our business. Any personal data that you have provided will, where it is relevant to any part of our business that is being transferred, be transferred along with that part.
